„on the move: Flight and migration in formal education“

Das Seminar wird im Rahmen des Pestalozzi-Programmes des Europarats von Südwind durchgeführt und findet von 20. – 22 .Oktober in Wien statt. Es richtet sich an PädagogInnen und DirektorInnen der Sekundarstufe I und II. Die Kosten der Übernachtung und des Seminars werden vom Projekt getragen. Insgesamt können 15 Lehrende aus dem Europäischen Raum sowie 15 Lehrende aus Österreich teilnehmen.

Inhalt:

At present migration is an omnipresent topic in the media. As it is a phenomenon since the beginning of human history it should be discussed in a more differentiated way and put in a global (learning) context. This workshop will mainly focus on the topics of migration and flight. Actual facts and figures will be presented (for discussion), and also methodologies (workshops and simulations) will be experienced and discussed. Part of the training consists of school visits in the Vienna region to learn and reflect on good practices. Finally the exchange of experiences and creation of networks for an international cooperation project will play an essential role in this workshop. Participants will explore information on migration and flight. Thus, the issue of migration and flight will be discussed in a differentiated way and the participants will get and discuss new materials and methods on teaching the topics
