Der Online-Workshop ist der letzte Teil des mehrteiligen Fortbildungsprogramms “Intersectionality and gender for inclusive Global Citizenship Education” im Rahmen des EU-Projekts Global Districts.
Wie kann intersektionales, diversitätsbewusstes Empowerment von Jugendlichen in der non-formales Bildung gelingen? Im Mittelpunkt des Workshops werden erneut die „gute intersektionale Praxis“ bzw. konkrete Handlungsmöglichkeiten und Methoden im Kontext von Global Citizenship in non-formalen Bildungssettings stehen.
Neben Austausch und partizipativen Methoden werden außerdem die Hauptergebnisse der Fortbildungsreihe zusammengefasst.

“Intersectionality and gender for inclusive Global Citizenship Education”

The capacity building training programme provides educational staff and multipliers with knowledge, abilities and competences to adopt a gender and intersectional approach as a means of transformative learning in the context of Global Citizenship Education (GCE). The training will enable participants to identify and deconstruct discriminatory gender norms and to adopt a gender and LGBTIQ+-sensitive approach in educational settings dealing with global issues. The training programme focuses on non-formal educational settings.
The training programme consists of 5 training sessions, starting in January 2025 and ending in June 2025. It offers lectures, expert talks and dialogue and opens up the possibility for self-reflection and transformative learning. Although the sessions build on each other and it is strongly advised to attend all of them, it is possible to participate only in some of the sessions. The training programme focuses on non-formal educational settings.
