Plan, do, check, act
The goal of 2GATHER was to support five youth organizations in developing new, high-quality youth work activities on topics related to gender equality that are relevant to young people. Specifically, the project empowered 15 young people to train youth workers to apply an intersectional approach to gender equality and to create safe learning environments that protect the emotional well-being of participants who face gender inequalities and other forms of intersecting social discrimination.
Silent Play: The Echoes of choices
Silent Play®: The Echoes of Choices is a unique educational experience developed within the framework of the 2Gather project – the interactive performance.
This innovative tool invites participants to reflect on the impact of the decisions we make in everyday life. By stepping into different perspectives, the audience explores themes of gender, inclusion, and equality, and discovers how even the smallest choices can carry powerful consequences.
Unlike traditional workshops, Silent Play combines art, empathy, and critical thinking. It creates a safe space for dialogue, helping young people and youth workers to better understand the realities of others and to question stereotypes that shape our societies.
The Echoes of Choices is more than a performance – it is a journey that encourages responsibility, awareness, and inclusive practices in both personal and professional contexts.
We believe this approach will become a valuable resource for those working with youth and communities, inspiring change through meaningful experiences.
Silent Play®: The Echoes of Choices is available in 5 countries and 6 languages:

Save Spaces, Brave Voices – Toolkit for Gender Questions
Engaging with gender issues is now a central component of modern, inclusive youth work. A key question arises: How can we create spaces where young people feel safe to share their perspectives—and where professionals can facilitate these conversations with expertise and sensitivity? This is where the new Save Spaces, Brave Voices toolkit comes in. Specifically designed for youth workers, it supports them in fostering open, respectful, and courageous dialogue spaces.
Practical and Participatory
The toolkit was developed not just for, but with young people and professionals. This collaborative approach ensures that the methods are not only theoretically sound but also practical for everyday use. Whether in schools, youth centers, or community youth work, the toolkit provides inspiration to integrate new approaches into your own practice and empower young people to raise their voices.
Every method and activity in the toolkit reflects the real needs and questions that have emerged in practice. From educational workshops to group activities or guidelines, the materials are field-tested and ready to use. It is divided in two parts: The first part contains important guidelines and the second part materials that are ready to use.
Save Spaces, Brave Voices is aimed at everyone working with young people on gender issues: youth workers, educators, social workers, and advocates seeking innovative ways to celebrate diversity and foster dialogue. With this toolkit, they gain not only concrete tools but also the inspiration to create safe spaces—spaces where courage and openness are at the heart.
The toolkit was created as part of the EU-funded 2Gather project, developed over two years through an intensive process of collaboration, dialogue, and continuous exchange. Youth workers from various partner organizations worked alongside young people to develop, test, and refine the content.
The toolkit is available in six languages: English, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, and Bulgarian. You can download them below.
