“Intersectionality and gender for inclusive Global Citizenship Education”
Language: English
The capacity building training programme provides educational staff and multipliers with knowledge, abilities and competences to adopt a gender and intersectional approach as a means of transformative learning in the context of Global Citizenship Education (GCE). The training will enable participants to identify and deconstruct discriminatory gender norms and to adopt a gender and LGBTIQ+-sensitive approach in educational settings dealing with global issues. The training programme focuses on non-formal educational settings.
The training programme consists of 5 training sessions, starting in January 2025 and ending in June 2025. It offers lectures, expert talks and dialogue and opens up the possibility for self-reflection and transformative learning. Although the sessions build on each other and it is strongly advised to attend all of them, it is possible to participate only in some of the sessions.
